A "bulletproof" technology that determines age and identity verification, CQR-ID's(TM) (pronounced "Secure ID") is a patent-pending technology that allows social networking sites like MySpace, to ensure their users are who they say they are.

CQR-ID(TM) is available for social networking sites or any website that needs to protect its users through positive identity authentication.

"CQR-ID(TM) answers some of the most urgent needs for kids, parents, educators and governments around the world, and we're pleased that our technologies can help make that difference,"  says Michael J. Schultz, CEO of GenMobi.

Interesting, but they are amazingly sparse on any kind of details that would allow a reasonable person to determine if they aren't just blowing smoke. It's a very challenging problem technically. Nothing is impossible, but this problem is very, very hard and a practical, workable solution has eluded some of the best minds in the industry. If they have indeed solved it in a bulletproof way, you'd think there would be a white paper or block diagram or something - anything - to show that they have in fact what they claim.

A deeper read shows the technology behind the claims. It's a mobile phone network for kids that can share their subscriber information with the internet at large. The mobile phone account is what establishes identity.

Of course, no old pervert would every sign up for a kid's mobile phone network account.

Even taking this to the extreme and requiring physical presence of a kid to establish the account is spoofable in a number of ways.

Right. Just more smoke.
