Be careful what you post online!!
A Millersville University student was denied a teaching degree on the eve of graduation last year.
The photograph, titled "Drunken Pirate", was taken at a Halloween Party while Stacy ![]()
"Drunken Pirate"Snyder, who was of legal age, was wearing a pirate hat and drinking alcohol from a cup, which was posted on MySpace.
The Dean of the School of Education, accused Snyder of promoting underage drinking. Snyder apologized but learned the day before her graduation that she wouldn't’t receive her teaching degree but instead received a degree in English.
Snyder is unable to teach without a degree, so instead she works as a nanny. She is also a mother of two children and has recently filed a Federal lawsuit of $75,000 in damages against the University.

How would they know what she had in her cup? They would have to prove it was alcohol. This has gotten ludicrous don't you think? Jacer, check my post.
Hmm, I must need better glasses because you know what? I'm having trouble identifying what she's drinking in that opaque plastic cup of hers. And -- sniff -- I don't smell anything either. Wow, to tell all that from a picture the dean surely has a degree of his own in science without supporting evidence.
And as you say, she was of legal age, so the dean needs to lighten up. Was the photo posted to her MySpace or did someone post it on their's, I wonder?
Ev and Ken,
Is this picture is promoting underage drinking, as the Dean suggests? Perhaps he is a Super-hero, able to read peoples minds and intentions as well as being able to see through plastic, opaque cups???
As I stress frequently, what we post online today, may come back to haunt us tomorrow.
Thanks for your comments!!!!
