The Journal of Adolescent Health reports 25% of American youths have been asked to send sexually explicit photos of themselves over the Internet, researchers say. Only one of the 65 children who received the request, complied.
The 2005 Second Youth Internet Safety Survey was based telephone surveys of 1500 children, ages 10-17, and results were just published in the Journal of Adolescent Health. The researchers studying the results said the results may be higher today, with the popularity of cell phone camera's and other technologies.

Yea Gods - 25% is huge. That's 1 in 4 kids and runs parallel with the sexual assault stats. Was is a small sample though? It mentions only one of the 65 complied?
Technology sure has made it easier for perps to get to our kids. It is not technology's fault though. The responsibility for the despicable grooming and sexually explicit behaviour lies with the inadequates who cannot control their ability to delay gratification.
